【Message from TWN members】
The Tomon Women’s Network (TWN) every year provides foreign students studying at Waseda University with an opportunity to participate in the “Kabuki Performance for Beginners” program, which is organized by the National Theatre.

This program is designed to introduce young people to Kabuki, a traditional Japanese performing art. The program consists of two parts: Part I, “How to Appreciate Kabuki,” and Part II, “Experiencing a live Kabuki performance”.

TWN has been organizing this event for foreign students to provide an opportunity to get to know Kabuki followed by gathering with TWN over light lunch. The National Theartre Building is currently under reconstruction this year so that the performance takes place in Sunpearl Arakawa.
Since TWN members will also attend this event, you will have a chance to meet Waseda alumni in the social gathering after Kabuki. We expect all students who participate in Kabuki will join the gathering as well. Please join us in this event to gain some experience in Kabuki with TWN members.
